Resilient Seated / Metal Seated | DN50 - DN600

ZNX gate valves are designed for on/off service with minimal pressure drop. The gate moves up and down to fully open or close the flow path, providing an unobstructed straight-through passage when fully open. This makes them ideal for pipelines where full flow capacity and minimal turbulence are required.

Our resilient seated gate valves with EPDM encapsulated wedge are the preferred choice for drinking water systems, while metal seated versions are used in higher temperature steam, oil, and gas applications.

Series 1

Non Rising Stem Gate Valve

DN50 - DN600 | PN10 / PN16 / ANSI 125-150 | NRS

In the non-rising stem (NRS) design, the stem threads are inside the bonnet in contact with the media. The handwheel rotates in place while the wedge travels up and down the stem — the stem itself never rises. This gives the most compact overall height, the standard choice for buried pipelines and manhole installations.

Rising Stem Gate Valve

DN50 - DN600 | PN16 / PN25 / ANSI 150 | OS&Y

In the rising stem — outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) — design, the stem threads sit outside the bonnet, away from the media. When opening, the stem and handwheel visibly rise, giving an instant visual indication of valve position. It is preferred for above-ground plants, fire protection and pump rooms where status must be checked at a glance.
